Lindex Kids is a Scandinavian fashion brand known for sustainable, design-led kids wear. The Battersea Power Station store brings their playful children’s concept into one of London’s most high-profile retail destinations.
Brief: Deliver the established Lindex Kids store concept into a 250m² unit (plus 60m² back of house) within Phase 3 of Battersea Power Station. The starting point was a 310m² shell-and-core unit with a demanding landlord approval process and tight launch dates.
Our Approach
Battersea comes with multiple stakeholders and a complex approvals route, so we simplified it for the client:
- Appointed a single lead Project Manager from pre-construction through to handover as one point of contact.
- Front-loaded surveys, technical checks and coordination to de-risk landlord and building control approvals.
- Managed all landlord, technical and compliance submissions so Lindex could stay focused on brand and merchandising.
- Delivered a full turnkey package – from fixtures and services to the final operational details – so the store team walked into a clean, stocked, ready-to-dress shop.

Outcome
The store opened on time, on budget and fully compliant, with no last-minute approval drama. Lindex took possession of a genuinely “ready to trade” space, allowing their team to focus on visual merchandising and launch activity rather than chasing snag lists and missing essentials.
Duration:
6 weeks pre-construction, 8 weeks construction.
